  11. Do you loose root once you unlock the bootloader?

  12. earlier question removed. Just read this:
It’s been determined that when attempting to flash an SBF file to downgrade to an older bootloader in an attempt to make the bootloader unlockable once again, the SBF checks out the ReservedOdm values. If these values do not match up, the SBF fails

  13. thanks for your response. I guess it’s pure curiosity at this point. What this must mean is that flashing 2.3.4 does not return it to the same exact state as it was before the 2.3.5 update. Question is what changed

  14. no its not

  15. About not being able to unlock after updating to 2.3.5… Isn’t it possible to reverse (re-flash) to the original 2.3.4 state and then unlock the bootloader?

  16. I am rooted using 2.3.4. I currently have backup using Bootstrap. Once I unlock the bootloader, my phone will get wiped. Will I have to root again? Also, will I be able to restore any backups I made through Bootstrap and still have the bootlader unlocked?

  17. FYI… At 17:13, your unique ID is pretty clearly visible.
